Significant cooperation with Metsä Fibre's Kemi bioproduct plant.

Our company was chosen as the logistics partner for the road transport of the new bioproduct plant in Kemi. The cooperation started in 2023. This collaboration is significant for us, as we get to be part of the story of the largest investment in the history of Finland’s forest industry! The environmentally friendly, energy and material-efficient Kemi bioproduct plant operates entirely without fossil fuels. The plant produces pulp and other bioproducts and is a pioneer in its category.

We are responsible for the safe road transport of pulp from the plant to the port of Ajos. The product warehouse of the Kemi pulp mill is located in Ajos, so all transports are directed there. This cooperation is also a source of pride for us as efficient and low-emission solutions were required from partners in logistics. It is great to belong to this category! We have HCT trucks that operate around the clock on renewable fuel. One truck can carry a 72-ton pulp load, which is about 1.5 times larger than a normal truck load. This means that in terms of transport, the carbon footprint is even 30 percent smaller.
